I think the collections that Whistles is coming out with are really excellent - interesting shapes, and an celebratory approach to pattern. Wish I knew how to makes clothes! Maybe that's the next thing to plow some attention to.

Came across the  work of Yuko Yamamoto today in the Motto book shop. Her book 'Paper Food' has a wonderful simple use of colour, and I like how that translates to her work space.

Hello to all out there! This is the start of my new blog and project A Peg - a place where I can record the projects I'm working on, and the collate the things that interest me.

After a lovely couple of years working in industry, I felt that it was high time to re-familiarise myself with the way I want to make things, and to make something Big out of those small ideas. So this is the year - a time for wonderful exploration and thinking.
