Finished (Spring) Scarf!

Finally, my finished scarf! I bought this wool in November, to knit for a Christmas present! The Red looks really heavy now with Spring on the way! At least there's a been a few more days of snow in Berlin, to make it all worth while. One thing I can say about this project, is that it is really nice to learn a technique from scratch - to feel all the frustrations of not knowing how to do something proficiently - and to then feel a real sense learned confidence, when the techniques begins to make sense. This project could have had lots of holes and muddles, but I was able to undo them all. Feel a big 'Bravo' for this, and am happy with my new looping scarf.

>A Peg> Necklace

I have made some necklaces to be worn this summer with a T, dress, or sunny outlook! I think a huge aspect of the summer months is having a chance to be relaxed and to attend to things with a lightness of touch - which means being easy-going with the way you dress! So many of the people that I admire for their sense of design and style keep things simple, but also revel in the details. It's nice to add a small touch, to make feel like you have a special spring-in-your-step! I'll be setting up an Etsy shop soon to sell these through, and with more colours on the way too.

The sight of Neopolitan colours makes my mouth water. From the top: Koriat - for delicious 'kuchenmanufactur' in Berlin; Mary&Matt Chocolate - via Reference.
